# Targun Tech

> Targun Tech builds and runs native iOS and Android apps for YouTube creators who already have an established audience, usually 100,000+ subscribers. There is no upfront cost. Targun Tech is paid a 10-30% share of what the app earns.

Targun Tech is a Nashville-based product studio run by Phil Targun, a software engineer with over a decade of production experience (Asurion, Vivid Seats, NinjaTrader). Phil writes the code, ships the releases and answers the support queue himself.

## Who it is for

- YouTube creators with an established audience, usually 100,000+ subscribers.
- Channels whose viewers already want more than the videos: to learn, to play along, to connect with each other or to buy and sell.
- Not a fit: standalone app or game ideas without an audience behind them, or anyone who wants to buy and resell the codebase. The revenue-share model only works because the creator's audience is already there.

## What goes in an app

- The creator's videos, organized.
- A short weekly game built on the videos (guess the price, name the part, call the result).
- A member community: members' own projects, questions and wins, next to courses and memberships. Existing memberships can move over or plug in without anyone losing access.
- A member-to-member marketplace where viewers buy, sell and swap gear, parts and finished work.

## How it works

1. A 15-minute discovery call about the channel and its audience.
2. Design and build: native iOS and Android, typically 8-12 weeks to launch in both stores.
3. Launch and run: store submissions, hosting, support, billing and every release after launch are handled by Targun Tech.

## Terms

- No upfront cost. Targun Tech's share is 10-30% of app revenue depending on scope, agreed in writing up front.
- The creator owns their audience, data, brand and the App Store / Google Play listings (published under the creator's own developer account). Targun Tech owns and operates the underlying codebase as part of the partnership.
- Either side can end the partnership with 60 days notice.

- No Cover Charge: a guitar education app for one of YouTube's biggest guitar channels, with courses, community and member subscriptions. 40,000+ members. iOS, Android and web.
- Supwell: a running community with a live shoe marketplace, training, streaks and member messaging. iOS, Android and web.
- JHu Masterclass: a bladesmithing masterclass platform for the JHuBlades channel, with video courses and paid memberships. Web.
